We're in it for the Long Haul

You’ve built your business over years. We can help you exit while we work with your management team to steadily grow your business for years to come.

Stability is Not Boring

Westbridge Capital is a private equity firm looking to acquire stable, profitable businesses.

To ensure a long-term alignment of interests, we often structure our deals with management having significant ownership in the companies they operate.

We focus on acquiring companies that have quality management and stability of earnings. Westbridge is industry agnostic, but we tend to focus on more predictable industries. We look for companies with a long operating history and $2M - $20M in EBITDA.

Want to Retire?

Are you a retiring entrepreneur looking for an exit strategy that allows you to preserve the management team you have built over the years? We provide liquidity in this underserved market while providing the existing management team a significant ownership interest.

Current Management Continues

Do you have a partner or partners who want out, but you want to stay in your business? Our ideal scenario in these circumstances is where there are passive shareholders we can replace. Making a deal with us can be a way to turn a stressful change in your partnership structure into a benefit for everyone.

Succession Planning

In this ongoing demographic and generational shift, are you an entrepreneur looking to plan your retirement but struggling to find liquidity for your business? We see this often for slow growing, stable companies and we can provide a vital service of liquidity and guidance to this market.

Private for us doesn't mean startup

This graph shows the growth of a hypothetical, successful company over time, and illustrates some of the many categories of private investing. Starting out, an entrepreneur may use their own money or turn to family, but a company’s access to capital will shift as it matures.

As the company grows, it may become attractive to Angel or VC funds. These funds willingly take big risks to capitalize on the highest growth, and often end up with high failure rates as a result. We are interested in buying mature companies long after they have gone through these growth stages.

We look for long operating histories and stable earnings and are happy to pay higher prices as a result. While many of our competitors in the private markets look for the biggest growth opportunities, we look for the most predictable and stable companies we can find.

Slow & Steady

We take a long-term view of our investment portfolio, and our unique model never puts us in a position where we need to sell to repay investors. Our optimal hold period is "forever". You may have built a business over many decades, so why risk selling to someone who is only going to hold it for 5 years?

RETIRE WITHOUT
GIVING UP YOUR LEGACY

Many business owners are looking to retire but struggle with succession planning. You may have spent years training a team capable of taking over, but they may not have the money to buy the business. We have designed a unique model to meet these needs.

Under our model, a retiring owner is paid a fair value, existing management become our partners, and we work with them to keep the business stable for the long-term.

BUILDING A
SOLID FOUNDATION

We work with your management team to continue to steadily grow your business - while also bringing in our team of experts to enhance existing processes.

Our diverse and professional team of experts is entrepreneurial in nature and we can walk you through all of the processes required for selling your business. Most people only sell one or two businesses in a lifetime, we’ll work with you to navigate this new experience and ensure that we are creating a mutually-beneficial deal.
