Westbridge Capital Forms Equity Advisory Committee

April 22, 2025 - Westbridge is pleased to announce the formation of our Equity Advisory Committee (EAC) — a key initiative designed to enhance transparency and strategy around equity valuations within Westbridge Capital Partners Income Trust (the "Fund").

The EAC will meet regularly with designated members of the Professional Services Group to review valuations and offer expert guidance when liquidity events occur, such as dividends or equity sales. These events are anticipated to become a new, material, and tax-advantaged source of income for the Fund over time.

We’re honoured to welcome an exceptional group of professionals to the inaugural EAC:

  • Paul Stefansson – Former Managing Director, Global Head of Investment Funds at UBS Group AG, where he helped oversee over US$5 trillion in assets under management.

  • Brett Becker, CFA – Former VP and Partner at Coughlin & Associates Ltd., where he oversaw an investment structure of approximately C$4 billion in assets on behalf of institutional clients.

  • Gord Stewart, CPA – Trustee of the Fund and former Partner at KPMG LLP, with over 40 years of leadership in accounting education, governance, and public practice.

We look forward to the value and insight they will bring as we continue to build a strong and sustainable financial future for the Fund and its stakeholders.
