Jim Hutch Announces his Retirement from the Board of Westbridge Capital

 

Effective December 18th, 2014 Jim Hutch announces his retirement from the Board of Westbridge Capital. He will continue in his roles as trustee of the River Bend Income Trust and the Western Horizons Land Income Trust and as a board member of Quickthree Solutions. His position as Chair of the Board will be taken over by Westbridge's CEO, Mike Meekins.

Jim says “I enjoyed being a part of the start and development of Westbridge and working with my business partners and all of the people in our various initiatives. I do look forward to these being developed to their fullest, for the benefit of those who have trusted us with their investments. It is now time, at the age of 83, to retire, and spend my time on those personal things I have been leaving for ‘when I retire’. Jean and I continue to have investments in all of Westbridge’s initiatives.”

Westbridge’s CEO, Mike Meekins says "Jim has been an essential part of the success of Westbridge, providing access and guidance in a way few people can, he will be sorely missed. We wish Jim the best in his future endeavours and thank him wholeheartedly for the contributions he has made to the business".
