Overview of Role
Westbridge Capital is looking to add a talented and experienced Director of Finance Operations (Portfolio Companies) to our professional services group. The successful candidate will work with our portfolio companies in a variety of industries to assist in the onboarding of the administrative, financial, and risk management operations of the company, including the development of a financial and operational strategy, identifying and tracking relevant KPIs, and the development and monitoring of internal controls and financial reporting processes to safeguard company assets and provide accurate and timely financial reporting. The work will be varied and continuously changing, such that it will provide challenges but never be boring or mundane. The successful candidate will work as part of a team and will also be provided with mentorship and opportunities to learn and develop their skill set.
This role is broad in nature, but typically includes the following:
Growth and Development of the Fund’s Portfolio Companies
Assist in formulating the company’s future direction by providing input on the company’s financial strategies, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Develop performance measures that support the company’s strategic direction
Maintain effective relationships with all members of the management team to maximize financial and operating results and ensure alignment with Westbridge’s strategy and reporting requirements
Oversee the financial operations of subsidiary companies
Manage any third parties to which accounting or finance functions have been outsourced
Oversee the company’s transaction processing systems
Support acquisition due diligence as required including onboarding and integration of financial reporting, systems, people, processes, and controls
Monitor cash balances and forecasts and ensure accurate reporting to senior lenders
Consolidated portfolio reporting and analysis to support both internal and external reporting requirements
Provide fractional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) support to new and existing portfolio companies to fill gaps as required
Professional Services Group (PSG)
Provide financial guidance and operations support to the PSG to support business initiatives and achieve financial objectives
Support M&A financial due diligence, modelling and analysis as required
Collaborate with other Westbridge teams to ensure alignment of finance objective with corporate objectives and to drive our business forward
Keep abreast of the latest developments, reporting environment and regulatory changes to ensure compliance with best practices and standards

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Professional accounting designation
Minimum of 10 years experience, with at least 5 years in senior financial management roles
Prior experience as a CFO is preferred
Strong knowledge of financial planning, analysis, and reporting
Experience with strategic planning, risk management, and corporate finance
Proven track record of developing and implementing successful financial strategies
Demonstrated experience successfully managing and leading complex projects
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization
Strong ability to build relationships and deliver in a professional services and process-driven organization
Strong understanding of how to leverage data and analytics to drive performance and innovation
Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as Excel, ERP systems, and financial modeling software
