Scopes Facility Services, Inc. Has Closed the Acquisition of Davis Landscaping Group
Westbridge Capital Ltd. (“Westbridge Capital”) is pleased to announce that portfolio company, Scopes Facility Services, Inc (“Scopes”), has successfully closed the acquisition of Davis Landscaping Group (“Davis”). Davis is based in Atlanta, Georgia, and provides commercial landscaping installation and maintenance services to multi-family properties, homeowner’s associations, commercial properties, builders, and investors representing over 170 properties containing more than 20,000 units.
As one of Atlanta’s pre-eminent commercial landscape companies, Davis has ranked within the Top 20 Landscaping Companies in the Atlanta Business Chronicle from 2006 to the present. They have also been listed as an “Inc. 5000” Fastest Growing Company in the U.S. for three consecutive years.
Jay Stephens, the current CEO and owner, purchased the business in 2004 and has since purposefully shifted Davis from installation to maintenance revenue. Through this transition and successfully building a team of managers and operators concentrated on customer service and retention, Davis now actively manages over 20,000 multi-family units and maintains client relationships that average more than eight years.
The Davis brand will continue to operate within Scopes. Having acquired Creative Maintenance Systems (“CMS”), a California-based janitorial services company, in October 2021, Scopes is increasingly well-positioned to leverage significant future growth opportunities arising from a diversified customer base and the ability to cross-sell services.

Williams notes that Davis will continue operating under the leadership of key long-term employees, with Jeannie Martin as General Manager of Maintenance and Richard Schrepple as General Manager of Installation. He adds, “The management team has proven that it is more than capable of delivering excellent service while achieving impressive growth.”
The President of Davis, Jay Stephens, is excited about Davis being acquired by Westbridge and becoming part of the Scopes enterprise: “The ability to provide an extensive array of facility and site services to our customer base is something that has intrigued me for many years. When the opportunity arose to partner with Scopes, I knew it was the right time for both our clients and our team.” He further comments, “Scopes’ commitment to technology-enabled growth and operational support in other geographic markets will be very attractive for Davis.” Stephens will be remaining with the company in a strategic client relationship role.
